What to Pack

  • Bible,

  • Notebook,

  • Pen or pencil,

  • Blanket & sheets (or sleeping bag),

  • Pillow,

  • Towels (Bathing and Swim Time),

  • Washcloth(s), Soap, toothbrush, shampoo,

  • Clothes for worship and recreation,

  • Modest swimwear (preferably one piece),

  • Money for snacks,

  • A desire for Christian growth.

Please label personal items and clothing for campers attending the Trailblazer or Adventurer camps.

Dress Expectations

For Evening Services:

  • Girls shall wear knee length, modest dresses or skirts, blouse or t-shirt (no undergarments showing). 

  • Boys shall wear long pants (pulled up at the waist) and modest shirts or t-shirts. 
     

For Recreation:

  • Girls and boys shall wear loose fitting apparel at least knee length. NO SHORT SHORTS.

 

For Water Activities

  • At the water slide, and other coed water activities, boys will wear shirts and girls will wear shirts and shorts over their bathing suit.

  • Boys and girls will be covered coming to and from the pool.  [Boys will wear shirts and girls will wear shirts and shorts or conservative robe over their bathing suit].

  • It is required that a separate swim outfit be packed for the water-slide than what is packed for the pool. 

Important Considerations

About Medications:

  • All Medications that a camper uses will be collected at check-in and distributed by the first aid staff.

  • Any medications brought for your camper MUST BE in their ORIGINAL CONTAINER.  We cannot accept pill organizing containers. 

  • Medications and a record of their dispersal will be returned at check-out.

About Cell Phones (and other electronic devices)

  • All cell phones, tablets, etc. brought by campers will be labeled and collected at check-in, powered down, secured in the church office during camp, and returned at check-out.

 

About Campers Who Drive Themselves:

  • All car-keys brought by campers will be labeled and collected at check-in, secured in the church office during camp, and returned at check-out.

  • It is our desire that a camper stay the entire week. However, if a camper needs to temporarily check-out of camp, they will need to make arrangements with the director for that camp week.

    • The camp may check with the parents in this scenario.

    • The check-out log will be completed, and their phones returned until they check back in.

About Snack Shop Money:

  • Snack Shop money will be collected at check-in and Canteen Credit Card(s) will be issue.  

  • The snack shop will not accept cash.

  • All remaining Snack Shop funds will be returned at check-out.
